Björkliden Mountain resort & Riksgränsen

Situated 250 km north of the Arctic Circle, this is just about as exotic as it gets. Nestled between the mighty mountains of the last European wilderness, Björkliden and Riksgränsen are surrounded by breathtaking views of Lapland. The resorts are situated only 30km from each other and for the skiing season we offer combined ski passes and daily transfer busses between the resorts.

This is a place of extreme contrasts throughout the year. During the winter Björkliden and Riksgränsen accommodates skiers of all levels. We offer shimmering Northern Lights in the skies, high altitudes and metre deep natural snow. Björkliden is more directed towards families and Riksgränsen offers more advanced skiing. In Riksgränsen you can soak in the world’s northernmost SPA.

During the summer it is illuminated by the magical glow of the Midnight Sun which from the end of May until the middle of July never sets, providing 100 days of round-the-clock sunshine.
